Each unique creation designed by Steven G. Straight combines old world furniture-making techniques with fine art detailing. The woods for each piece are carefully selected, the carving is done by hand, the joints are achieved without using metal fasteners, and the visual themes always reflect the spirit of the southwest.
Steve's production capacity is limited because he cares more about quality than quantity. His customers are people who share his passions-people who love wood, appreciate hand-crafted quality, and like to surround themselves with beautiful, one-of-a-kind furnishings.
"What I like best," says Steve, "is working directly with customers to design, build and decorate something just for them, something that will give them years of pleasure and eventually become a family heirloom."
